Our Vision

We are a Spirit-led church, made up of many nations, backgrounds and cultures. Our first priority is hearing from the Lord; both as a family together and individually as members of the body of Christ. We believe God plants us in a local church family. His intent is for each of us to grow and flourish with fellow believers and to be equipped for the work of the ministry. We pray you find the place God has planted you, and invite you to get to know us to see if this is where He has placed you.

OUR MANDATE – to establish a Spirit-led church in Leamington with a heart for the nations

OUR VISION – to Gather sons and daughters, to Grow together in the Lord; equipping them to Go from here into all the world, gathering the Harvest and igniting Revival.

Our History

LCC is a small town church with an international vision. We believe God has not only called us to go to the nations but the nations will come here too. On any given Sunday, it is not uncommon for us to have a congregation with members from multiple nations represented in our services. We believe in global missions and we encourage our people to get involved in the mission field by sending short term teams from our church to countries including; Mexico, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Argentina, Colombia, India, Ghana and Bolivia. We are believing God for revival in our church and for our entire area; for salvations, changed lives and the establishment of the Kingdom of God.

We started as an evangelistic outreach in 1986 when our founders, Pastors Dan & the late Myra Tamburo, were invited to minister to a small group of christians in Leamington. This group later gave birth to Leamington Christian Centre church in 1990. Our vision is to establish a church where the Holy Spirit can work freely and communicate the love and righteousness of God, and to have a place where christians are matured and discipled in Christ. This is our prayer and purpose.

In September of 2013, we began the process of completely renovating our main building and sanctuary after many years of holding on to the promise of God. On April 27, 2014 we had our first Sunday services in our new facility! God has blessed us with a beautiful building where we can worship Him together as a family. We are excited for the new things God is doing and we know this is just the beginning!

We are asking the Lord to knit us together with people of like-mind and purpose to fulfill the vision God has placed in our hearts. Our desire is to have a living relationship with Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, that will launch us into our community to see lives transformed by the glory of God.
