But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

Psalms 5:11-12
When we know the Lord, we rejoice. When you know the Winner Man is on your side, literally living inside of you, rejoicing comes natural. When you have only heard of the Lord and try to live a good life, rejoicing can be strange, even offensive to you. The natural, religious man is full of opinions and thoughts of righteousness that he comes up with….but reading Isaiah 55 about those thoughts causes us to search the word of God for our judgements.

If you do a study of the words praise, thanks, and rejoicing you will find much about our way of worship. Paul described it like this….
“But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers…..” Acts 24:14
One of the words for praise gives this definition: “Making a loud shrilly sound while spinning in a circle…” Ever seen that before? Hmn…..Sounds like some sunday mornings at LCC. Allowing the Bible to be your guide is a good thing I think. Because the Bible will the book of judgement that God uses when we stand before Him. But, like I said, the natural, religious man will have a hard time with this, like he always has.

We need to be true to ourselves and to the Spirit of God living within us. Rejoice as the scripture says, shout for joy as the scripture says, be joyful in God as the scripture says and look what follows:
The Lord will bless the righteous and WITH FAVOUR will He surround you.
Finally, don’t criticize those who may be a little more fervent than you, but be thankful as they may be bringing down more FAVOUR AND BLESSINGS!

Blessings to you today
Loving you
